This is a great day out – we usually drive to Polruan and get the foot passenger ferry across. Alternatively, you can drive and get the car ferry across, however, parking is limited. We always eat at Sam’s here, but there are lots of other lovely places to eat and the shopping is great!

This is also a favourite spot for us – there is a lovely beach, kayak hire and Sam’s on the beach is a must!

This is about 25 minutes away, it is a beautiful cove but there is a steep walk up and down so not for anyone with walking difficulties. Also, be careful to check the tide times if visiting here.

A thriving town, lovely day out. You can hire bikes either at Wadebridge or Padstow and cycle the camel trail between the two. The Camel trail provides access to the beautiful Cornish countryside along a disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow.

On the north coast known as surfers paradise, Newquay is 1 hour away. There is several beautiful beaches where you can surf or learn to surf. There is also great nightlife here and lovely shops.

Located in redgate around 30 mins away. You can walk in the woodlands and marvel at the cascading water. Inkie’s smokehouse is located in the carpark and serves great food!

You will find board games & cards in the dresser in the dining room and bucket and spades for the little travellers. We provide towels for use in the cottage but please don’t take these to the beach – we will provide you with separate beach towels for your beach days!
You are in the heart of the town, minutes away from the beautiful beaches. These beaches are great for paddling, swimming & rock pooling.
