The beach at Armacao de Pera is huge and there are lots of different places to park a car and easily walk down to different parts of the beach. There are a couple of beach towels in one bedroom and a sun umbrella in the porch at the back of the house for you to take down to the beach. You can try stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and more on the beach there and hire a bike to ride along the cliffs towards the next lovely places.
