The Colorado Shakespeare Festival occurs June - August in the Mary Rippon Outdoor theater. See a CU Buffs football game in the fall or a basketball game in the winter.

This is a nice place for adults to gather free from kids, along with the Kitchen (downstairs), which has high class dining. Wonderland Lake trails in North boulder are great for hiking, walking, trail running, and mountain biking. No motorized vehicles permitted.
Wonderland Lake a Wildlife Sanctuary is less than .25 from the house. You'll see birdlife, deer, coyotes, muskrats, rabbits, and on very, very rare occasions black bears and mountain lions. You can fish from the banks.
These trails connect 150 miles of trails managed by Open Space & Mountain Parks.
