Hands down the best pizza in town. They are located in the town square, call them ahead of time and they will call you back when your order is ready.

El Balneario de Luquillo has clear calm waters and an amazing mountain backdrop thanks to its proximity to El Yunque National Rain Forest. Its a state beach with $5 USD parking.
Local tip: You can take a nice walk from our apartment all along the shoreline, if you make a left at the end of the road, you can walk to "El Balneario". If you make a right, you can walk all the way to "La Pared".

Local tip: You can take a nice walk from our apartment all along the shoreline, if you make a left at the end of the road, you can walk to "El Balneario". If you make a right, you can walk all the way to "La Pared".
Our apartment is located right in front of Playa Azul, rates one of the best beaches on the east side of the island and part of what is known as the Northeastern Ecological Corridor. Grab our courtesy beach chairs, umbrella and cooler and spend the day relaxing in the sand.

Seven Seas is located in Fajardo, about 15 minutes from our beach apartment. Seven Seas is a "State beach" with calm waters, beach toy rentals and parking available. Enjoy the food shacks along the way and in front of the beach.
Local Tip: The best part of Seven Seas is a short 1 mile hike on the left end of the beach that leads to truly a Caribbean Paradise beach called Playa Escondida.
Tip: Make sure to take your accessories to spend the day, backpack chairs, water, refreshments and snacks. Pack what you are willing to carry.

This cafe is located in Rio Grande, the town next over to Luquillo and it is located right at the entrance of El Yunque Rainforest. It is a 10 -15 minute drive and highly recommended for breakfast and lunch, don't pass on the Guava-Lemonade, our favorite.

Dont pass on on their ceviches and "Ensaladas de mariscos", ask for them to serve with "tostones de pesetas" (Bite Size Fried Plantains). Of course wash down with some mojitos, whether traditional or flavored with tropical juices such as guanabana, parcha etc...
