Neighbourhoods
Four Mile Creek is a cluster of homes nestled by the beach, with a mixture of permanent residents and holiday shacks, also some acreage properties.
It is a very friendly neighbourhood, where everyone will give you a wave and a smile.
Four Mile Creek got it's name as it is Four Miles south of Falmouth . Four Mile Creek runs into the ocean at the southern end of the beach.
For those who enjoy reading, there is a little local library box down by the park at the end of the street.
You can go beach rock hopping and exploring at the southern and northern ends of the beach. Also great for throwing a fishing rod in.
There are no shops at Four Mile Creek. If you are driving up from the south, stop in Bicheno. From the west, St Marys. From the north, St Helens. There is a small supermarket at Scamander.
White Sands Estate is close by for a bite to eat, otherwise it's a 15 - 30 min drive to other eats.

An hour and a half drive north of Kalinda. This is the northern tip of the Bay of Fires, but can not be accessed from the Binalong Bay end. You have to take the Ansons Bay turn off north of St Helens. The bitumen road will soon turn to dirt and can sometimes be quite rutted. There is also a couple of cellar doors on the way out, if you fancy a taste. I recommend taking a packed lunch or stop in St Helens for supplies, as there is nothing out this way for food. There is a pub at Gladstone that does good meals.
