Paesanos is on the riverwalk and is a nice Italian and Mediterranean place to have lunch or dinner. We really enjoyed the crab stuffed salmon. The selection of wine is fantastic.

Sight Seeing
From our house you are able to walk two blocks over to a bus station at the corner of Meersheidt and Martin Luther King Street, where St. Phillips College is located. Riding the bus to the Tower of Americas is inexpensive and convenient to see many of the downtown tourist attractions, such as Southtown, Tower of Americas, Astrodome, Riverwalk, and the Blue Star Arts Center located in King Williams neighborhood. It is wise to take the bus because the downtown area and many of the tourist attractions charge for parking.

The YMCA located on Iowa street is only 0.4 miles from the house and is easy to get to either by walking or riding the bus. The bus stop is 1.5 blocks from the house located on the corner of Meerscheidt and Martin Luther King. It is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and is a nice facility adjacent to a park.
