Whiffin Spit is situated between the Sooke Harbour and Juan de Fuca Strait and offers a scenic coastal walk along the shoreline. The area is popular with dog walkers and nature enthusiasts as wildlife such as shorebirds and sea lions can often be spotted during your walk. Its a 10-minute walk to Whiffin Spit from our rental, plus a 45 minute round trip walk on the Spit.

French Beach Provincial Park offers beautiful hiking trails through lush forests and a sand and pebble beach where visitors can relax and enjoy a picnic. There is also a playground for children.
