Here you can relive the state's second largest civil war battle. The visitors center is located in a historic home and offers a laser guided topographical map which gives a bird's eye view of the battlefield. You can also watch a locally produced documentary and browse unique battlefield artifacts.
Adjacent to the visitor center is Battlefield Park which is open Mon-Fri from 10:00 am to 4:30pm.

Fort Boonesborough has been reconstructed as a working fort complete with cabins, blockhouses and furnishings. Resident artisans perform craft demonstrations and give modern-day visitors a true sense of what life was like for pioneers in Kentucky.
The Fort is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday – Sunday with last ticket sold at 4 p.m. They are operating with limited staffing.
The Kentucky River Museum, a newer addition to Fort Boonesborough State Park, provides visitors with insight into the lives of families who lived on the river and worked the locks and dams in the 1900s. Visit fortboonesboroughlivinghistory.org for more about the story of the development of commerce on the river and the Kentucky River Museum. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturdays Only from 11:00am-4:00pm with last tour at 3:00pm. Admission is free.

Camp Catalpa is located on the east side of Lake Reba Recreational Complex. They offer an 18 hole PDGA disc golf course that runs across the area, a two mile loop walking trail with a view of the lake, two picnic shelters and a playground.
