Short walk from South Piha, though the stairs are step. You can walk from the Stuido, via the walkway on Rayner Rd, or take a short drive down and park in the South Piha car park.
There are more walkways south from the Tasman lookout, you’ll have to back track as it’s not a ‘loop’ walk.

Path down to beach
Hey guys. If you want down the road about 200m there is a path that leads you to the beach:
-Walk down Rayner Road until you reach a grassy area on the left
-When you see 3 letterbox in a row, left a sharp left and head down the driveway.
-Continue down the driveway until you pass a power pole on your right, shortly after on your right is a path.
-Take the path, note there are many stairs, down. You'll end up on Sylvan Glade road.
-Follow your note to the beach.
