Fremont is a must see neighborhood in Seattle. Located on the northwest side of Lake Union along the water Fremont it offers great views, public art, local unique shops and local restaurants. If you are a chocolate lover don't miss a Theo Chocolate tour of their small factory. However, if you cannot make the tour there is a shop you can visit that has free samples. Part of the charm of Fremont is its public art including a large statue of Lenin, the Troll and the always decorated sculpture of "Waiting for the Interurban". Fremont also has a wide variety of small shops to explore and local restaurants. It is a fun place for both locals and tourists. Once a year they have a street fair at the time of the summer solstice.
