If you want a delicious sit-down restaurant, check this one out! I recommend the brussel sprout appetizer (I was hesitant too, but the waiter highly recommended it and I’m so glad!).

Sightseeing
Grapevine is a registered historic city. I’m still not sure what that entails, but a leisurely walk down Main Street will take you back in a beautiful way. The train station (also very useful for going to Ft. Worth, or even just a quick trip to and from DFW airport), historic relics, and informative exhibitions throughout (I’m thinking of a restored house that has audio and visual accounts of what that exact house may have looked like from the time period it was excavated from) makes the trip wonderful on so many levels. The street is also saturated with wineries, restaurants, and boutiques.

Things to do
People of all ages will like this place, especially anyone who is an aviation enthusiast. Watch huge and small airplanes takeoff and land at the international airport. There are picnic tables and lots of grass for the kids to run around on or a couple to spread a picnic blanket out on. We definitely recommend downloading the app FlightRadar and have fun tracking each airplane you see take-off or land. Be sure to look at the UPS site to see if one of there huge 747s are there!

If you are up for a trip to Bishop Arts, you will find a trendy retail spot with so many places to shop and eat. But at the top of the list is undoubtedly Mosaic Makers Co. It is an incredible place that exclusively sells LOCAL goods made by Texas female-owned small businesses. It is the best gift-shop in the city, and they have a second location in the Dallas Galleria Mall.
