Cawston is an 'up and coming' area. Still has many farmers and is a small village of under 1000 people
This small village is the Organics Capital of Canada. The town of Keremeos is building a walking/cycling path (that runs parallel to the Hwy). Lots of Fruit stands and orchards. Cawston has several parks. There is a lovely dyke to walk your dog, run or ride your bike on. It also has Nature's Trust Conservation area. Loaded with wild life and amazing birds for the photographers. The river offers great exploring, as do he local mountains. Filled with lakes, view points and hiking trails.
