Old town Burlington is great for an evening stroll around the 6-8 blocks of old colonial buildings, courthouse, and amphitheater. Several charming restaurants and eateries call Burlington’s downtown business district home so there’s plenty to keep you coming back!

The famous striped water tower welcomes newcomers with a pronounced southern Florence YALL. The tower started off advertising the nearby “Florence Mall” but other local businesses complained that the mall was getting free advertising, so the city took the lazy way out and simply painted a Y over the M, and now the water tower is a nationally known monument to southern charm. The Mall has been declining due to COVID, but the area still houses tons of stores, restaurants, shops, movie theaters, and pretty much everything else you could want without crossing the bridge to Cincinnati.
