Picnic of modern art and contemporary creativity It's called Gnam, but you don't eat the National Gallery of Modern Art, adjacent to the splendid park of Villa Borghese: after a walk in the shade of its centuries-old pines, mum and dad like it and children don't mind a visit to this museum , where the white and colored walls envelop visitors and where art is learned with a picnic, between visits that mix works of art and artistic techniques, to be savored between the museum and the garden. Info at: http://lagallerianazionale.com/edricoltura/famiglie/ Its rooms designed by Zaha Hadid and illuminated by sound installations are already perfect for children's curiosity, if you then add temporary exhibitions of young talents and educational workshops for children aged 4 and up, the MAXXI, the National Museum of Arts of the 21st century, it becomes the ideal place for the whole family, who loves the suggestions of contemporary art.

Bioparco

The Bioparco hosts about 1200 animals of about 150 species including reptiles, mammals and birds. They are all animals born in the Biopark or in other zoological structures. For many years, in fact, the concept of the Zoo has changed and the animals are no longer bought or taken from their natural habitat. Thanks to the network of zoological facilities coordinated by EAZA, the animals are transferred from one facility to another with criteria and methods that primarily respect their welfare and following the recommendations provided by the EEP coordinator of the species in question. The only exception to these methods are specimens seized by the competent authorities and whose origin is often unknown. The movements are also established, taking into account the availability of space and resources and the conditions of maintenance that must be suitable to meet the needs of the animals.

PIGNETO&KIDS

Parco delle Energie is a public park of the Municipality of Rome, located in the Pigneto-Prenestino area and bordered by via Prenestina, via di Portonaccio and by the railway track and the area of the former SNIA Viscosa factory. The area covers a total of 14 hectares (including the factory), of which 6.5 are public (Parco delle Energie). The park was inaugurated in 1997 and the last areas will be expropriated and made public in 2000Inside the park there is the only natural lake in Rome, which escaped from the underground aquifer during the works for the construction of a shopping center, in the early 90s. The extension of the lake (up to 9 meters deep) is about 10,000 square meters and its waters are clean and suitable for swimming. By extension it exceeds the lake of Villa Borghese and for this reason (data not verified) it should have another record, namely to be the largest lake within the railway ring.
