Sightseeing
Paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking. Trailhead for the Beaten Path, Elk Lake, Sylvan Lake and Phantom Lake. The road on the road at up is only paved for a third of the way so it can be rough at times. Great spots to jump onto the East Rosebud creek to fish along the way.

Amazing experience for so many reasons. Everything is reservation only from hiking, biking, and bus tours so book early. The music events are by lottery and usually open in March of each year.

This drive has spectacular views of the Beartooth Mountains and the foothills that are fed by the annual run-off from the mountains. Moose, elk, whitetail, mule deer, coyotes, foxes and all other Montana critters can be seen on this backroad trip from Luther to Roscoe. Leave time for stops along the way for photos and a rest when the road becomes washboarded along the way.
