Vietnamese: It is always busy and not a secret tip anymore, but the food at Monsieur Vuong is delicious. Service is super friendly and the interior is warm and stylish. If you do not want to queue in line, get there around 11.40 for lunch. They open at 12.00, but start serving earlier.

After the railyard closed, a "primeval forest" grew upon the 18‐hectare site. The large photo in our children bedroom was taken there. There is a nice café in the Park that is open on the weekends.

This is a very nice and not so well known lake near Oranienburg. You need a car though to get there. You can park near the Cafe "Alte Fähre" and cross the bridge over the canal. The little beach is not far. Ca. 50 min. by car.

Very close, but a totally different world. Nice for a walk and taking fantastic pictures. A jungle only 20 km away from our place.
