The forest is a great place to explore either by foot or bike. You can choose to drive to the Forest car park which is approx 6 miles, or much more exciting you can take a water Taxi across the Bay from the marina!

This is a fascinating working Abbey, it is advisable to check before visiting.
There are some wonderful Rock pools to explore here, lovely Beach huts, “Stew and Drew’s” ice cream is well worth a visit too. The harbour is very pretty here.

The foundation is well worth a visit, you can spend hours wondering round, in normal times the Arts centre is worth a visit, there is a great cafe and the Foundation shop has a great selection of foods as well as books, gifts and lots of interesting stuff!

Food scene
The Marina, can organise trips across the Bay to the other side as well as hiring out canoes and paddle boards. They also organise whale watching and Dolphin trips on their super fast hi-speed ribs, great fun! All these activities are best booked in advance.
They have added on an ice cream parlour too this year, with an amazing variety of flavours!

Great wee local village shop, fresh bread everyday, papers and general food supplies, also sells alcohol, is a post office too.

One of the best cafes for miles, (covid restrictions have changed the business for the moment) has now evolved into a great wee store, with all sorts of fresh and dried goods, still does great fresh breads, takeaway coffees and food, be there early if you want to get great takeaway cakes. We can only hope that one day the cafe is back, it’s known in summer months to do great takeaway pizzas on occasion!

One of the best cafes for miles, (covid restrictions have changed the business for the moment) has now evolved into a great wee store, with all sorts of fresh and dried goods, still does great fresh breads, takeaway coffees and food, be there early if you want to get great takeaway cakes. We can only hope that one day the cafe is back, it’s known in summer months to do great takeaway pizzas on occasion!

This is a lovely coastal walk from Findhorn, you can walk along the beach at low tide or follow the path, stunning views of the Moray firth up to the top of Scotland on a sunny day! You will see tank blocks left over from WW2 on the beach, Seals are often spotted and occasionally a pod of Dolphins passes by!

This is a lovely coastal walk from Findhorn, you can walk along the beach at low tide or follow the path, stunning views of the Moray firth up to the top of Scotland on a sunny day! You will see tank blocks left over from WW2 on the beach, Seals are often spotted and occasionally a pod of Dolphins passes by!
