Enniscoe House, gardens and woodlands adjacent to Lough Conn (very close to the house) is a really enjoyable trip. Enniscoe offers great variety for nature lovers along the lakeside trails through amazing pastures and woodlands. You may enjoy exploring in the North Mayo Heritage Centre to trace your family history or to browse the exhibition which houses an impressive array of local farm & household artifacts. A visit to The Orchard Café is a must where you can enjoy a tasty homebaked treat after all your exploration! Open Tuesday to Sun 10am-4pm. While the house is a private family home, the gardens are open to the general public from 30th March to 31st October.
Organic fruit & vegetables are available for sale every Tuesday to Thursday 12noon-3.30pm from the organic garden!

Beleek Woods (Europe's largest urban woodland) is situated along the River Moy, Ballina. It consists of a 1,000 acre woodland and is fantastic place to walk or cycle for both adults and children alike. Plenty benches available to avail of ‘time out’ if one wishes! The forest is well signposted and there are routes to suit all the family and level of cyclists.
Beleek Castle tours are available on occasion. Glorious walks at this location. Information at the house in folder.

You can enjoy an interactive journey through the past finishing with a tour of a working woollen mill. I highly recommend the Foxford Café. Seasonal ingredients used & all homemade on site. A real treat!
