The Reculver Towers can be seen across the coastline from Herne Bay to Birchington, they are an important local landmark and are listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. From the Towers there are 180° views, from Herne Bay to Margate.
A cycle route, the Oyster Bay Trail, runs through the park, and it has also been awarded a Green Flag.
