On the Move
The Manitou Incline is one of the most popular hiking trails in Colorado. However, now you MUST make a reservation to ascend "The Incline" via www. coloradosprings.gov/parks/page/mainitou-incline.
This unique challenging one-mile climb starts in Manitou Springs and invites all levels of hikers. The crown jewel of outdoor recreation in Manitou Springs and referred to by locals as simply ‘the Incline’, this popular but strenuous hike is not for the faint of heart. It climbs over 2,000 vertical feet in less than a mile and sections as steep as 68% grade. Take your time, drink lots of water, and enjoy the views from the top before your return down the Barr Trail. Hint: there are a couple of false summits!

These odorless hot springs bubble out of the ground at 140 degrees and are open year-round. A water slide and pool complex are located nearby for more fun in the sun.
