This is my favorite restaurant on the island. We get there early for happy hour. Linda lines up at the foot of the stairs at 5:30 PM to get a table with a spectacular ocean view. You do need reservations.

This is the original "greasy spoon." However, there are always long lines, so the cafe must be doing something right. Our guests give it two thumbs up.

One of the best kept secrets on Maui. The locals know of it, but most visitors have not heard of this beach until they get to this part of the island. If you want to walk on the beach, this is the one to do it.

This is an Irish bar. They have lots of local musicians come here, so you need to find out their schedule. Generally, the food is good and not very expensive. They also have a good happy hour that we have frequented in the past.

The swap meet occurs on Saturday morning. It is next to Maui College. $1 to enter. Free parking in the college parking lot. Good place to shop for gifts. Also sell fruits, flowers, vegetables.
