Mona is the Museum of Old and New Art. The museum is a private collection owned by the slightly eccentric David Walsh. The artworks and artifacts are extraordinary in themselves and furthermore the actual building is perhaps the most interesting piece of art in itself. The food and wine is excellent but you may want to book if you plan to visit Mona's Faros restaurant. I won't give away any spoilers - you will have have to experience it for yourself.

Sightseeing
You can get a stellar view from the summit of the city and surrounding waterways. If you are up for a solid hike, there is trail very close to your accommodation that leads all the way to the summit. No vehicle required (be sure to pack meals, water and warm clothing!)
