Homeless in the Mission.
There is a growing problem in the neighborhood with homelessness. I have being living here for more than 10 years and it could be intimidating at first but they are really not aggressive. Our street community is very well connected and we are constantly looking for ways to avoid a settlement in our block.
In general the area is pretty safe but we recommend always keep your eyes open to avoid surprises.
