Food scene
If you're staying in Okere Falls or just passing through, the Okere Falls Store is the perfect retreat. A beautiful range of food from their beef nachos to vegan burgers and raw desserts and open from 7am - 7pm (great if you need to start the day with coffee).
The Store has a beer garden out the back which is the perfect place to unwind in the sun with a glass of wine, beer or select from their non-alcoholic beverages including a range of kombucha 'on-tap'.
Great place for the kids too!

Hotpools
These are my favourite hotpools to visit. It will take about 30 minutes to get there but they are well worth it.
There are off the tourist-track so often you can be the only people there (in the winter months at least).
There is a charge for entry, change rooms, and toilet facilities. At times during the year there are sandflies which can be annoying so take an insect repellant with you.
