It was constructed from 1911 to 1914 as a residence for financier Sir Henry Pellatt. The architect was E. J. Lennox, who designed several other city landmarks.
Depending on the time of year the castle host many different events. Such as orchestra in the garden, a haunted house, as well as it is the home to one of the best restaurants in Toronto called Blueblood Steakhouse.

The place to be for Luxury shopping in Toronto. Also, a great place to grab a coffee and get a little escape from the city. Yorkville is designed in a square all the shops are located inside the square which provides a nice getaway from the traffic of downtown.
