This place is amazing with its open plan kitchen, cocktails and the best food ever - always fresh and flavoursome. I love the delicious chargrilled kahawai. The service is professional and attentive too - I just can't fault this restaurant.

Great quirky place off the beaten track which is popular with locals. Excellent food with decent helpings and well presented. The coffee is nice and strong too. My friend loves the nutty smoothies.

Fantastic breakfast with great coffee. I love the Federal Benedict and the poached eggs are always perfectly done. You can taste the quality. Only a few minutes walk from the Heritage hotel.

I love the atmosphere because its like a New Orleans pub with wooden bench tables. Music is great too with a mix of blues, jazz and country. Try the waffles with fried chicken which are delicious and perfectly seasoned - I don't worry about the calories here !
There is also a great alley at the side where there are tables in the shade.

Britomart Transport Centre is the public transport hub in the central business district. A great way to get around Auckland is by train. The electric trains are very comfortable and all you do is sit and relax.

Waiheke is fantastic for it's vineyards, olive groves and beautiful beaches – all just a 40-minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Always fun with loads of activities for adventure seekers too . Hiking is my favourite thing to do in Waiheke - the views are always breathtaking.

The Park has the most gorgeous specimen trees, beautiful gardens, panoramic summit views, and even sheep and cattle . Apart from my regular walks there, my family will always have our christmas picnics there .

The Park has the most gorgeous specimen trees, beautiful gardens, panoramic summit views, and even sheep and cattle . Apart from my regular walks there, my family will always have our christmas picnics there .
The beach is lovely to walk along and is safe for swimming.
There is the lovely view of Rangitoto Island, and lots of trees along the beach front for shade and picnics. The area has lots of restaurants and the best Ice cream is at Movenpick. Try the fish and chips at Sea Cow - it's fantastic.

This is a former industrial area which is now a buzzing hive of activity. Throughout the summer, Night markets and Silo Cinema take place every Friday evening. In the weekends there is live entertainment. Bike hire is available. A lovely family oriented recreational space.
