Shah Alam is a city and the state capital of Selangor, Malaysia. The Shah Alam Stadium is located in Shah Alam and is used mostly for football matches but also has facilities for athletics. Apart from this, Shah Alam also hosts the Istana Bukit Kayangan (Sultan of Selangor's second official palace after Istana Alam Shah), the state mosque of Selangor (Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque), several major univerisities (UITM, MSU, HELP University, KDU University College). and other government offices (JPN, Immigration, etc).
