***Currently closed for renovations.*** Delicious food, awesome atmosphere and you've never had a Bloody Mary until you've had a Spoon River Bloody Mary - the presentation alone is worth it! The menu is seasonal so you may get a local fish that's running or grass feed beef from a local farmer, but whatever you get it will be fantastic!

Fish Hooks has been a mainstay in Belhaven for many years and you'll know you're in the right place when you arrive at their pink building located right in town on Main Street. Head to the original location on the waterfront and expect a wait. You get your choice of "all the way" (mustard, onions and their famous white bean chili) or maybe just mustard and onions, or just chili, or maybe mustard and chili is your thing, or just plan. Whatever you decide there is NO KETCHUP so don't ask. Grab a bag of chips and a cold bottle of coke or pepsi, pay (cash or card) and then step out front, grab a bench on the sidewalk and......enjoy!

When Eva died in the mid 60's her collection of items, including her collection of 30,000 buttons, was going to be sold in a yard sale or thrown away but locals raised over $6,000 to save it. Belhaven offered to showcase the items in the upstairs of the former town hall, an area previously used as a gym for local schools to play basketball. The location is now known as the Belhaven Memorial Museum an dis sometimes referred to as "somewhere between the Smithsonian and Ripley's Believe It or Not". It's a must see when you're in town!
