Lady bird lake is a 5min walk from my house the trail is on the water and you can catch a sweet view of downtown as well. Kayak rental place right off the water - I've rented with them before and had a great experience!

On the best tourist street in Atx is this sweet little gem - a costume store with every costume and costume accessory you could imagine. They don't allow photos but it is still super cool to check out.
