I don't think they have the best food in the area but if you want a slightly kitchy "old West" experience, red meat and a 20 mile drive out in the desert, this is the place for you. Add some time to tour around the animal exhibits if you can do before dark.

I don't think they have the best food in the area but if you want a slightly kitchy "old West" experience, red meat and a 20 mile drive out in the desert, this is the place for you. This is a locally owned family restaurant that is a favorite of many locals. It's closer than L & J and close to the freeway so if you are tired of driving and don't want the hassle of looking for street parking or a possible wait for a table, this is a good choice.
