Jimmy T's is a local joint, the kind of place where every coffee mug is different. It's small, the food is adequate, not spectacular, but it does the job. Great for an easy local breakfast before sightseeing.

Make sure you get a look at the main reading room and the Gutenberg Bible — rotating exhibits are alway excellent and it’s never crowded. It is opulent — you’ll think you’re in Versailles or at The Hermitage. The fountain is right out of an Italian film. But it is one of the few government projects that was completed ahead of schedule AND under budget!

Bike share stations are all over the city and there are a variety of options for rental (hour, day, etc). The bikes are sturdy and easy to ride. This is a great option for touring on Capitol Hill and on the National Mall.
