EL RESTAURANTE LA VIBORILLA
La Viborilla restaurant is located in a small and beautiful cove in Torrequebrada, Benalmádena. It was founded in 1974, by Gregorio and Antonia. After 42 years, the second generation runs it but conserve the same Mediterranean traditional food and its family atmosphere. It is definitely a “must” in the Costa del Sol, both for the homemade food and the spectacular views.

Nice little cafe!
We went to the cafe after having a wander round the nearby Paloma Park. Nice food and a good selection of ice cream, pastries and cakes. The coffee was the best we've found so far on this trip.

Everything Else
The compact size of Benalmádena makes the resort an easy one for planning a night out in. Hardcore party animals have it nice and simple – the 24-hour Square is home to approximately 20 pubs and clubs, all centred around a small square. Aside from a few fast-food outlets and a McDonalds, every establishment here is bright, glitzy, loud, open until late and keen to entice as many revellers inside as possible, leading to a number of exceptionally well-priced deals. Such competition for consumption obviously has its drawbacks, but generally the atmosphere is one of fun and frivolity rather than drunken menace and debauchery.
Puerto Marina also has its fair share of late night bars and clubs.

The compact size of Benalmádena makes the resort an easy one for planning a night out in. Welcome to the Enlightenment Stupa of Benalmádena - a vivid monument to the enlightened mind, a Buddhist monument for peace, prosperity, harmony of the world and an ideal place to learn, reflect, and meditate.
The Stupa and its activity are directed and administrated by the cultural association Asociación Cultural Karma Kagyu de Benalmádena and its spiritual guide is H.H. the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.
It was built due to the inspiration of the great Buddhist Master from Bhutan, Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche, the cooperation of some of his western disciples, and the support of the Local Government of Benalmádena City with its then Mayor, Don Enrique Bolín.

Precisamente este último núcleo es uno de los enclaves más bellos de la provincia: por su enclave en la montaña divisando el Mediterráneo (en días de poniente suave se divisa Africa) pero sobre todo por haber conservado su configuración original de pueblo blanco andaluz.
Casas encaladas por calles estrechas y sinuosas que mantienen la estructura urbana original y desembocando en el mirador De la Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán desde donde se domina la costa.

Un grandísimo parque en el que pasear solo o con los niños es genial, bastante arboleda y asientos para descansar, las vistas son muy agradables, muchos animales libres como conejos, pajaros, tortugas, es muy fácil aparcar, cerca de la playa a unos 200 metros, con bares en su interior y parques infantiles bien seguros y divertidos

Esta plaza con su fuente de la Niña es espectacular. Vale la pena desviarse de la autopista y entrar en el pueblo muy bien cuidado. Calles estrechas y flores. Tiene un ambiente fresco y relajante.

While its neighbours streaked ahead in the package holiday race, Benalmádena grew at a more considered rate – today, the promenade is wide and spacious, backed by a long line of superb cafés, bars and restaurants, and fronted by a huge beach. The award-winning Puerto Marina yacht harbour combines living and office space, plenty of restaurants, a number of bars and shops and even a Sealife Centre into its unique shape and scope.
