The stunning Downtown Library was reopened in Sept 2017, and quickly became a popular commons for the region - a place where curious and optimistic people meet. Centrally located and has it's own cafe. It's free, and the people there can always help you find out things - even things that aren't on the internet!

This National Park site includes their childhood home and a replica of their bicycle shop. The small, focused museum is a great choice for a half-day outing, with kid friendly exhibits and a super restaurant (Texas Beef and Cattle Co) right across the street.
