Parks & Nature
There are two choices when getting to this beautiful swinging bridge over the Toccoa River. You can park on Hwy 60 and walk the 2.5 hour hike to the bridge on the Duncan Ridge/Benton MacKaye trail, or drive down the service road to within a quarter of a mile of the bridge. Both have their advantages, but make sure you see the bridge while you are here. It is just beautiful.

This is just a great waterfall and watering hole. I like to climb to the top of the rock wall facing the falls, and sit and listen to the roar and watch the butterflies. At the base of the falls you can swim in the deep hole created by the waterfalls. A must see!

If you enjoying fishing, hiking or kayaking don't miss this park. It is small and not as popular as the nearby Vogel State Park, and for that reason I enjoy visiting it more. The Slaughter Creek Trail is one of my favorite to hike.

This park offers a beach, dock for fishing, paddle board rentals, informative hiking trail around the lake with a beautiful man made waterfall. It has something for everyone.
