Authentic Tex-Mex food is something you HAVE to try while you are in South Texas! This is where you must go to do
it.
You can sit outside on the patio underneath cafe lights and the misting fans while your children take full advantage of the play area. Our younger kids like to play hide and seek while we wait for our food. Yes, the playground area is really that big.
Would you like to know my favorite menu items? Here they are.... The frozen margarita, chile rellenos, chips and queso, and flan for desert.
Be careful though, this is a popular restaurant, especially on Friday or Saturday nights. You may have to wait 45 minutes to get a table.

My opinion is that this is the best BBQ place.........EVER! Trust me, you have to try it.

This quintessential Texas Honky Tonk has hosted such legendary performers as Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, B.B. King, Little Richard and many many more. Known by many as the musical “birthplace” of Willie Nelson, Willie immortalized John T. Floore in his hit recording “Shotgun Willie”. John T. This is our favorite place to go at night.....after the kids are in bed of course. This is a "happening" and authentic Texas country bar. It's not a sleepy bar by any means. Plan on ordering your favorite drink, dancing with your sweetie, and listening to high quality live Texas country music.
We come here to go dancing a couple of times a month. It's really the best country bar in town!
