If you want to see the classic Louisiana landscape without driving far, stop at Bluebonnet Swamp. This place has tons of bald cypress trees dripping with Spanish moss, and you'll hear the sweet sounds of birds, frogs, and bugs.
A lovely walking path wraps around this arboretum, maintained by LSU, and designed by LSU College of Art & Design faculty. Go learn a lot about trees!
