This is my favorite part of the city. Although also some parts have been renovated throughout the years, these three islands still hold the romantic atmosphere of centuries ago. The rich merchants used to live here.
It is quiet and not touristic because most tourists don't know about it. And there are not many shops.

I like the Sloterplas to run around. It really feels like you are out of the city and it is yet so close.

The Vondelpark is the park of Amsterdam. On sunny days there is a large variety of people enjoying the weather and the atmosphere. It is lovely.
