It is only a couple of miles away, on the A68. Great food and beer (limited if you are a veggie), friendly, cozy pub, and you can take your dogs into the bar.

Lovely food and beer, amazing building. It is an old monastery in one of the most beautiful and unknown villages in Northumberland. Great circular walks around, finish your walk here and relax. Very much a part of the country scene, shooting, fishing, hunting.... so may not be to everyones taste
