Fun outdoor mall. Great way to enjoy the California weather! Many restaurant choices. At peak hours, parking can be a bit tricky here due to construction. There is valet parking available. --Steven

Slightly longer drive, but well worth it! Great shopping, people watching, and of course the Pacific Ocean! Many weekends there are surfing or volleyball competitions on the beach. Stroll up Main Street for shopping and good beach food. Best Mai Tai's are at Duke's Restaurant right on the beach near the pier. --Steven
