Food Scene
the most important part of traveling! (I'm biased)
We absolutely love catching games at the bar here and their homemade margaritas. The burrito "chimi style" (chimichanga) is a bit of a heart stopper... but oh so worth it!!

Such awesome appetizers! A meal will run ya $20-30 but it's absolutely delicious. If you sit outdoors you have views of clear creek and all the intertubes going downstream in the summer :).

Awesome tap variety, they even actually have a margarita tap. They also have a food truck-like kitchen where you go up to an individual window and order various types of cuisine (off the top of my head I remember icecream, pizza, Mexican and barbecue). It's right off clear creek so you have great views.

This is actually my gym! I love it dearly. It's a rock climbing gym for beginners and experts with a multitude of rope routes and bouldering routes to get your arm pump game on. Very friendly, welcoming staff! Day passes are $25.

During the summer it's possible to float the river with rentable intertubes! It's snow melt though so it's cold ❄️🥶, feels great on hot days. River Sports provides rentals, and Golden Goods Inc sells tubes outright if you get hooked ;). The water level is monitored by local officials, there will be a flag on the downtown bridge off Washington avenue indicating the safety level. Yellow is somewhat dangerous. Green is smooth waters.

Part of the epic ski pass and about one hour away. Loveland ski resort is closer, but a bit too small in my opinion. We're happy to give ski recommendations because we tear up the slopes 25 to 50 days a year generally!

Sightseeing
Best venue in the world in my opinion. There is nothing like seeing the twinkling city lights behind the stage during a show and hearing the acoustics bounce off the Red rocks! Might be worth looking at their website for last minute tickets.
Also, many people use the stairs as a workout in the mornings when temps are a little bit cooler. There's also Saturday 'yoga on the rocks,' led by an instructor that is $17.

This fun little trail is a 5 mile loop that crosses a stream several times. Late summer the water is low but during spring the stream is rushing! The west access point is a 5 min drive down i70 West (exit Chief Hosa), this one has the actual brook. Going to the east access point (windy saddle park) does not have the brook, but great views!

So, to be honest this site is very thorough but a little bit intimidating. Pay attention to the clothing recommendations! I got ridiculously sunburned on the back of my neck during my first 14er. And **always** be prepared for rain.
