Very cool “hidden” place with amazing murals and artsy specialty shops.
Artist Alley is located directly across Pier View Way from the Oceanside Public Library and the nearby Civic Center fountain. The alley stretches midway between Freeman Street and North Coast Highway.
There is an artwalk on the first Fridays from 5-9pm in Artist Alley. It's a a free family friendly event with arts, jewelry, pottery, crafts, music and more. Check the instragram page for latest updates on the artwalk @oceansideartwalk.

Another great place for a day trip - head just 15 minutes down the freeway to Encinitas (or better yet, take coast highway for a beautiful scenic drive!) to checkout the fun shops, cafes, coffee shops and more on Encinitas Blvd. Moonlight Beach is a great sandy beach for kids and even has a playground!
