Rain Gear

Depending on the season/weather, Vancouver can get quite rainy. Making sure to have waterproof shoes, a rain-jacket, and an umbrella is always a good idea!

East Hastings

Unfortunately East Hastings has a reputation for having a large homeless crisis going on. This area has a drug use problem that has gotten worse over the years. This condo resides a few blocks away so we're not heavily impacted- we've walked around at night countless times without any issues- however we suggest avoiding this area if you have children with you. If you'd like to learn more or donate to help improve this situation, we suggest Covenant House Vancouver as a charity making an impact.
