Shashin-Ka is a tiny Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Diani Beach. It is a family run business and has exceptionally good sushi and other Japanese fare.
This is my #1 restaurant pick.
The tuna crazy roll is amazing!

Jolly Bar Pizzeria is my favourite pizza place in Diani Beach.
They have a great selection of pizza, pasta, sandwiches and grilled seafood and meat.
The pizza is thin crust, has amazing tomato sauce and homemade mozzarella cheese. They also make a 1 metre long "pizza metro" allowing you to mash up 4 of your favourite pizzas into one giant meal (ideal for 3 to 5 people).
Free delivery is available, but nothing beats having the pizza hot out of the oven!

They have a selection of Cuban, Mexican and Italian food as well as fan favourites such as burgers and pizza.

This is a local beach shack and is only 100 meters from our house..
The set-up is basic but very close to the waterfront. They offer fresh seafood in a chill atmosphere.

this is an estuary that empties out into the ocean on the northernmost tip of Diani beach. it's a great spot to catch a beautiful sunset dropping behind the ancient baobab trees in the area.
there is also an old mosque on site with historical significance.

you can experience amazing snorkelling and scuba diving, a cultural walk around wasini island and Shimoni slave caves with a lovely seafood lunch on the island.
the trip is all day. generally from 7 to 4pm.
there is also a high chance of spotting dolphins.
