This is a beautiful, long beach, ideal for walking, swimming, surfing and body boarding.
It is the safest swimming beach in Betty’s Bay and famous for surfing when conditions are right.

Sightseeing
One of the few penguin colonies along our coastline. Lovely boardwalk to view the penguin colony. This is a protected area, managed by Cape Nature, so there is a small entrance fee.
There is also a coastal path from here to Main Beach, accessed from the left hand side of the car park when facing the ocean.
This is also the start of the Marine Protected Area.

There are a number of marked hikes, ranging from a gentle stroll, to a strenuous hike.
