Great hike! Not too steep! Make sure you visit the swing at the top....but also go a little higher so you get the ocean views and mount baker! There are lots of instructions online on how to find the trailhead. The hike from the red gate is much easier than from the yellow! It is about 1.5km up from the red gate and will take about 22-30 minutes up!
