I love all of Ithaca’s waterfalls but this trail is spectacularly beautiful and it’s a rigorous hike. I believe the entrance fee for cars is $8 for Treman, Buttermilk, and Taughannok Falls but it’s very much worth every penny! Each one of these trails loops around the falls. They are all spectacular! Taughannok is the largest falls and there’s and almost completely flat 3/4 mile trail into the base of the falls for people wanting to take it easy. That’s a good place to go swimming in Cayuga lake too!

This is one of Ithaca's most beautiful places to hike. There's a short loop around the falls that's moderately difficult and a longer loop that's more woodland. Absolutely gorgeous!

It’s so easy to walk or bike Ithaca!
Seems to me like the traffic in Ithaca is pretty heavy. Try taking the bus downtown or walking or biking. The house is on the bus line. If you drive, once you park you can pretty much walk everywhere! It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the commons, 20 minutes to walk to the Farmer's Market along the waterfront trail, 15 minutes to walk to the Children's Garden and Cass Park.
