Ithaca truly is "Gorges," there are endless sightseeing options, just a quick drive around town will prove to be. The city has over 150 waterfalls within 10 miles and the surrounding area was carved out of glaciers that formed the gorges millions of years ago!!
Quick trail close by our home, after morning coffee, take a walk to Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary where you can hike and bird watch. Home to Cornell Lab of Ornithology, this 220-acer sanctuary is a great spot to hike the wooded trail and learn about rare and endangered birds.

We have parking at our home, so bring your vehicle and explore the local spots. Parking in Ithaca is always plentiful, in more dense areas such as downtown and the university, their are parking structures and paid meter parking (download the app, ParkMobile, to make meter parking a breeze).

Local TCAT Bus
The local TCAT bus is another great way to get around the city. The bus stops one block from our house at the intersection of Maplewood and Salem. Pay with cash or get a daily/weekly/monthly pass.
