The reason why most people visit Bosham is the meadow and quay stretching out with lovely views of the sailing boats in the estuary. If you are an early riser or late to bed, the sunrises and sunsets are the jewel of Bosham, with different light and wildlife to enjoy every day.

This is the very popular pub in the centre of Bosham right on the water. It has a terrace at the front overlooking the estuary and a garden at the back, which allows dogs. Open all year round, every day, it is very popular for lunch and dinner.

Chichester is the nearest town and has everything that you could want, whether it be shopping, theatre, restaurants and bars or culture. Easily accessed from the cottage by bus, or a 10 minute drive.

Buses and trains
There is a good bus service from Bosham (the main stop is in the car park immediately behind the cottage). The train it at the top of the village (a 20 minute walk away) and is on the mainline to Chichester, Portsmouth, Southampton and London amongst others.

...she runs a pottery painting workshop upstairs and is a great option for a rainy (or sunny!) day.

Goodwood - FOS, Revival and Horse Racing
Goodwood Estate is a 15 minute drive from Bosham and is a wonderful place to visit, particularly if you come for any of their major events. When the events aren't on, you can still visit the Aerodrome, golf course, spa etc.
