There is a big picnic area overlooking the beach. It has a kiosk as well as wood fires. It's fun to toast marshmallows there at dusk.
The waves at the Farm are comparatively small - good for children.

During the right season, it's common to see whales along the coast, often in groups and with calves.
There is also a good viewing point at Minnamurra Headland.

Minnamurra River is accessed at the boat ramp on Charles Ave, Minnamurra. It's a popular place in the summer, where people go kayaking and families swim. There is a large BBQ area for picnics, and also tennis courts if that's your thing. For tennis, you will have to pre-book with Mavis at 9 Links St, Minnamurra. ph (02) 4237 7658

A very nice location for a day trip. This is a nice little beach in a bay, with an adjacent picnic area and a bushwalk.
If you are there in the evening, in the summer, go to the Huskie carnival.
