A walk along the Chanonry and round St Machar's Cathedral is a great way to spend an afternoon. If you fancy a bigger walk, head into Seaton park and take a walk along side the Don river and up to The Brig o' Balgownie (Bridge of Balgownie) one of the oldest stone bridges in the UK, you get a great view of the river Don from here.
